Cancer
Over the past few decades the whole area of sciences stood out in oncology. This is chemotherapy, the aim of which is the drug treatment of cancer. In a broader meaning, this area also includes hormone therapy and immunotherapy. Preparations for the treatment of cancer, depending on the mechanism of action and indications for use, are divided into several groups.
According to the mechanism of action the drugs to treat cancer are divided as follows:
- Alkylating agents for cancer treatment
- Antimetabolites
- Antibiotics
- Unclassified drugs for cancer treatment (hormones, antihormones, plant alkaloids and other natural remedies, adjuvants)
Alkylating agents for cancer treatment are compounds that are able to react.
Antimetabolites, as the name implies, are used to treat cancer that interfere with the metabolism (metabolism) of the cell. And it violates the formation of substances needed for DNA synthesis and thus of life and reproduction of cells.
Antibiotics are combined into one group of drugs for cancer treatment on the basis of a common origin, their mechanism of action completely different. In recent years the study of these drugs for the treatment of cancer has made substantial progress.
Unclassified drugs to treat cancer are the drugs, mechanism of action of which is different from the drugs of the above mentioned groups. These include drugs hormones and their antagonists (antihormones), which do not kill cancer cells but have a major impact on their functioning.
It also may include enzyme preparations, extracts from plants and animal bodies, with another unexplored mechanism of action.
Arimidex
Arimidex is approved for adjuvant treatment (treatment following surgery with or without radiation) of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer. Your doctor may prescribe this remedy for other purposes. Contact your physician to learn more information.
Droxia
Droxia is known as an anti-cancer. It slows the growth of cancer cells.

You may see the positive result within 24 months of treatment. It is prescribed for treatment of early stage and advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal females and in women with estrogen receptor-positive or estrogen receptor-unknown breast cancer that has spread to another part of the body (metastatic cancer).
Premarin
Premarin contains a combination of estrogen hormones which treat symptoms of menopause, such as vaginal dryness, hot flashes, irritation and burning. It can be prescribed also to prevent osteoporosis (loss of bone mass) in postmenopausal females, and to replace estrogen in females with ovarian failure or other conditions that cause a lack of natural estrogen.
